Our Story
Scott IPC® was founded by Shawn and Amy Scott to bring real-world operational discipline and resources to international flight operations.
Over twenty years on, the same expertise still shapes both halves: founder Shawn Scott wrote the original ICRH®, and the instructors who teach the courses now help guide it and Scott Plot® electronic plotting, delivered on iPad and used by flight departments operating worldwide. One system, from the classroom to the cockpit.

Aviation has always advanced on the discipline of the people who fly it. From Wilbur Wright's earliest cautions to today's crowded oceanic tracks, safe operation has never been accidental; it is the product of preparation, judgment, and respect for the procedures.
We build our training around the areas the NBAA identifies as the highest safety priorities, and we teach crews how to meet them through scenario-based instruction that rehearses real decisions before they matter in flight.
That focus runs through everything we make: the courses we teach, the ICRH® crews carry, and the Scott Plot® tools they fly with. A safety-first culture isn't a slogan here; it's the reason the company exists.

Our International Procedures Training carries FAA TSOC approval; vetted against the standard for international operations training.
Our instructors have served on the NAT Operations Subgroup, helping develop oceanic procedures including SLOP and RVSM.
