Privacy Policy

Scott International Procedures, LLC® (“Scott IPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to scottipc.com, the Scott IPC Client Portal, our iPadOS applications (Scott Plot® and the ICRH®), and our training services.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you purchase training, register, use the Client Portal, or contact us, you (or a representative of your organization) may provide your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, pilot certificate/license number, company or flight-department name, and the contents of messages you send us.

Training records. When you take our courses, we collect completion and progress data — for example, when a module is launched, advanced, and completed — so that training history can be tracked and shown back to you.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our website is used. It stores cookies in your browser and assigns a randomly generated number to your device so that repeat visits can be told apart from new ones. Through it we collect the pages you view and how long you spend on them, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not use it for advertising, we do not combine it with your Client Portal account or your training records, and we do not attempt to identify you personally from it. This data is processed by Google on our behalf and is stored in the United States.

How we collect information

Most personal information is provided directly by our clients or their representatives at the time of purchase. Pilots attending training may add or update contact details at any time by editing their Client Portal profile. Training data is collected automatically as you interact with course content. Analytics data is collected automatically through cookies, as described above.

How we use information

• maintain training records and update course completions;
• let you view your training history and progress;
• operate, secure, and improve our website, Portal, and applications;
• process transactions and provide the products and services you request;
• respond to your inquiries and provide support; and
• send service messages and, where you have opted in, newsletters and updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not trade it to third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, payment processors and our analytics provider), and only as needed to provide our services, or where required by law. Payment transactions are handled by a third-party gateway and are not stored on our servers. No mobile or phone information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies. Functional cookies keep you signed in to the Client Portal and remember your preferences. Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics and named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier, let us count visits and understand how the site is used; they hold a randomly generated number, not your name or email address. We do not use cookies for advertising and we do not allow third-party behavioral tracking. You can set your browser to refuse cookies; note that some features (such as signing in) may not work without them.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, free of charge;
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
• Restriction / objection — ask us to restrict or object to certain processing;
• Portability — request a copy in a portable format, or that we transfer it where technically feasible; and
• Non-discrimination — you will not receive different service for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@scottipc.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 30 days). We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Data security

We protect your information with SSL/TLS encryption in transit, secured networks, access limited to authorized personnel, and regular malware and vulnerability scanning. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for aviation professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (consistent with COPPA).

Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not respond to DNT signals; however, we do not engage in third-party behavioral tracking or advertising as described above.

International users

Scott IPC is based in the United States, and your information is processed in the U.S. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
