Shawn Scott

Shawn provides overall strategic direction and leadership for Scott IPC. He oversees the development of training programs, industry partnerships, and represents the company at aviation industry forums and events. Shawn’s aviation career began as a flight mechanic in the U.S. Coast Guard and later in the U.S. Army as a maintenance test pilot. After 20 years of serving in the military, Shawn joined a major commercial airline as a Boeing and Airbus aircraft ground school instructor and an instructor for International Procedures. With decades of experience training pilots and organizations, Shawn has instructed crews across corporate, military, and government sectors. Since 2000, he has concentrated on the business aviation side of International Procedures training.

Shawn’s strength lies in distilling complex procedures into practical, real-world instruction. He is known for developing innovative training programs, tools, and publishing resources that pilots rely on globally. Away from training, Shawn enjoys family time and outdoor activities.
