Norbert Schuchbauer

Norbert trains pilots in international procedures, drawing on practical insights from his 47-year flying career. He began in the German Air Force; his experience includes Part 135 on-demand operations, regional airline roles as Instructor, Check Airman, and training-course/SOP developer, and worldwide operations in the B777, along with international corporate operations.

Norbert also worked for the FAA in the Flight Technologies and Procedures Division, Flight Operations Group, as a Special Area of Operations Specialist, developing safe Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, and ATC-management operations spanning existing to emerging technologies. He conducted tabletop exercises and validation flights for Part 135/121 operators seeking authorizations and approvals. In his spare time he remains active as a flight instructor.
