Module #38D CPDLC:
CPDLC learning objectives are comprised of both academic and operational elements. In an effort to ensure the highest level of training possible, we will be providing the academic portion. You will be required to include CPDLC aircraft procedures in your in-flight or simulator training sessions as well.
It is important that each pilot understands fully the interaction and operations of avionics allowing the crews to respond to particular requests made by ATC.
Our CPDLC module will train the follow items:
Introduction to CPDLC, Aircraft and ATSU Data link Systems, Approvals, Current Standards, Operational Differences between Voice and CPDLC, Phraseology, Connection Management, Messages, Weather deviations and Offsets, Emergency Procedures, Flight Plan Considerations, Operational Use, Europe CPDLC, Frequently Asked Questions, Reporting Data link Events
Module #38B ADS-B
Module #38B ADS-B:
ADS-B module consists of all academics required to gain the ADS-B authorization to operate ADS-B in a foreign airspace wherein that airspace requires an aircraft be approved for ADS-B operations prior to commencement of operations.
