RECURRENT INTERNATIONAL PROCEDURES COURSE – 1 DAY

Combinations of any of our training modules (for a total of 8 Hrs) may be chosen as the curriculum of a Recurrent International Procedures course.  This custom recurrent is only available when live training is provided at the customers location, and has a minimum pilot attendee requirement of six (6).

Our Standard Recurrent International Procedures Course begins with an in depth discussion of resources available to our clients via our website. The introduction continues with a detailed breakout of recent airspace and or rule or procedural changes as well as upcomming changes to same. The Recurrent further consists of modules integrated into a sample Westbound flight crossing the North Atlantic, using our Class 2 Navigation Guide Envelope and our International Cockpit Reference Handbook which all attendees receive.    During the flight walkthrough, all areas of consideration will be addressed as they would occur during an actual crossing, allowing an opportunity to discuss various segments of the flight, while incorporating key elements of International concern. The 4 modules below are built into this standard recurrent.

  •   AUTOMATED COCKPIT CONSIDERATIONS & LIMITATIONS CONCERNING INTERNATIONAL   OPERATIONS

  •   CONTINGENCIES & REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  •   ICAO / FAA OCEANIC COMMUNICATION & NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS AND   CONSIDERATIONS

  •   SPECIAL AUTHORIZATION AIRSPACE : RNP BRNAV PRNAV RVSM DRVSM CRNPC MNPS

The Standard Recurrent International Procedures Course allows the pilot to receive a RVSM Certificate of Training indicating the training received complies with the FAA’s pilot knowledge and/or training requirements mandated for the issuance of a Letter of Authorization for RVSM airspace as outlined in 91RVSM, Appendix 4 & 5. Additionally, DRVSM Operational Policy and Procedures for the WATRS, the New York Oceanic FIR, and the San Juan FIR and Atlantic High Offshore will be covered. Also Domestic U.S., procedures that apply only in Alaska, Offshore Airspace and the San Juan FIR under VHF are addressed as well as European and China RVSM operations.

Every attendee receives the ICRH (International Cockpit Reference Handbook), which was designed with input from clients to give you the information you need when you need it. All pages are color coded for rapid information discovery. This 230 page ICRH has proven itself to be an invaluable resource for our clients. To get additional information on the extensive coverage in this ICRH, contact us and we will take you through a guided tour on the web.
